For the 85th edition, Nov 1-6 in Morelia, Mexico, riders can look forward to six great days of tough riding over challenging and interesting terrain and the remarkable camaraderie that makes this event so special.
In true “Ready to Race” tradition, KTM is again on track to ensure that the 2010 IDSE is a real celebration of Orange where riders test themselves and their machines in the company of like-minded enthusiasts. KTM has completed preparation for the big race and 4 x 40 ft. containers are on their way stacked with motorcycles and material to ensure that KTM’s competing customers are cared for in the best possible way. Together with KTM USA, KTM will be in Mexico with a support team of
more than 20 including specialists from motor sports, development, customer service and marketing.
Strong Orange presence in the paddock
The presence of two KTM trucks in the paddock underlines that KTM, both in Europe and abroad, are always professional when it comes to first class support for participating riders at major events. This year a record number of KTM riders have ordered the race service packages. This means orders for more than 50 service packages, 50 rental bikes and more than 100 spare parts services to underline that KTM and its support team represent an important component of this great annual event. KTM has now been working on perfecting its service to participating riders for the past 10 years and is proud of its ever increasing support role at the ISDE.

First held in England in 1913, the ISDE has been held every year in various parts of the world - with the exception of during the two World Wars. Portugal was the host country in 2009, Greece in 2008 and in Chile in 2007. The event attracts around 500 riders and thousands of spectators. Riders compete for individual and multiple categories of national and other team awards over six days of riding a total 1250 miles (2011 km). And because KTM highly values the commitment of privateers and IDSE enthusiasts there will again in 2010 be an unofficial tribute to KTM’s toughest club riders.
