ISDE Competitors Ready for Battle in Mexico

The 2010 International Six Days Enduro event starts today, and there has been a flurry of activity as teams from all around the world set to do battle in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. Billed as one of the most demanding enduro events, ISDE participants will average more than 150 miles of dirt terrain throughout each day of the six-day contest. Team trucks have arrived and settled in, and the paddock has quickly come to life with a variety of colorful flags from 28 different countries. Individual teams have begun practicing just outside Altozano, and more than 50 thousand visitors are expected to participate in the festivities to occur over the next week.

Representing USA at the 85th ISDE event will be Destry Abbott, Mike Brown, Kurt Caselli, Jimmy Jarrett, Timmy Weigand and Nathan Woods. Abbott is an AMA Team USA veteran and World Trophy Team co-captain. With five National Hare and Hound Championships under his belt, Abbott is an experienced enduro rider with four ISDE Gold Medals.
